Nizwa has been a popular destination for tourists and residents of Oman. In the sixth and seventh centuries, this city was the capital of Oman and the main center of trade. Our guide shared that over forty different types of dates were grown in Nizwa. The two main attractions of Nizwa were the forts and the souk.
